Terms and Conditions Includes websites www.stouparentals.com The
following terms and conditions apply to all transactions with Stoupa
Rentals. Upon sending your order it will request you to accept
these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print
a copy for future reference.
General These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory
rights. To order goods through our websites or over the telephone
you must be at least 18 years of age. We will treat each order
for goods as an offer by you to rent the goods subject to these
terms and conditions.
Orders Taken Orders received via our website system are sent an
email confirming the details of the order, this does not imply
acceptance. STOUPA RENTALS reserve the right to decline or cancel
an order for any reason.
Description of Goods All the products we rent are of a technical
nature and it is not practical to publish detailed specifications
of all the products. All images, descriptive matter, specifications
and advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving
an approximate description of the goods. Full detailed specifications
are available upon request.
Accuracy of Product Information All manufactured items are subject
to improvement and change without notice and may vary from the
particulars given. Whilst every attempt is made to give accurate
descriptions of items, the details given cannot be guaranteed.
If a particular specification is important to you, please contact
us for verification. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect
price due to typographical error or error in pricing information
from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we reserve the right
to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether
or not the order has been confirmed. In such an instance we will
alert you of any such error. The total price payable for the goods
will be stipulated at the time you place your order and unless
otherwise stated all prices are inclusive of taxes.
Payment Methods You may pay by cash (sterling / euro).
Availability and Supply of Goods All products and services are
subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. We are
not responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may
suffer if we do not supply the goods. In certain circumstances,
depending on the situation at the time, we reserve the right not
supply. We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated
but delays in delivery of goods maybe outside our control. Any
dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate
only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages,
charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.
Risk & Damage As soon as the goods have been received you
will be responsible for them. From the time of receipted acceptance
of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your
own risk. It is important that you check the quantity and the working
condition and note it before signing for it.
Time Limitation for Notification of Claims Damage in transit:
If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make a note on
the delivery note and it will be your responsibility to inform
us within 12 hours of delivery. Shortages: It is your responsibility
to sign for the correct number of items as shown on the delivery
note. Any shortages must be noted on the note and it will be your
responsibility to notify us within 12 hours from delivery.
Incorrect Goods It is your responsibility to notify us of any
incorrect goods supplied within 12 hours from delivery.
Non-Deliveries We will not accept liability for goods lost in
transit unless we are notified within 12 hours from the expected
delivery date. Our installation staff will normally leave a card
should you be out. It is your responsibility to ensure that someone
is available to accept the goods.
Product Guarantees General This does not affect your statutory
rights. All products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions
of the Manufacturer's Guarantee usually for a period of 12 months.
This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident,
neglect, and misuse. In addition routine maintenance (cleaning
of dirty laser heads etc.), consumables (plug fuses, cables, batteries,
etc.), cosmetic damage and tuning of channels is not covered. We
do not accept responsibility for the poor functioning of television
under poor signal conditions.
Cancellation of Orders & Returns A. No Fault Returns and or
Cancellation. You are entitled to withdraw from this contract at
any time up to 14 days prior to arriving in resort. Faulty Item
Returns – Major Fault on Arrival. A product is found to have a
major fault on arrival’ i.e.. it shows symptoms of a major failure
preventing basic operation upon its first use. In such instances
please contact our customer support helpline within 1 day from
the delivery date. You can then either return the faulty item directly
yourself or we will organise a collection from your accommodation.
Upon receipt of the goods and confirmation of the fault by our
technical engineers you will be offered the following options:
1. A replacement – subject to availability, . 2. A repair – the
repaired item will be returned to you as soon as possible if a
replacement is not available. 3. A full refund – if a replacement
is not available.
If a customer has a complaint, it will be dealt with sympathetically
by the staff of Stoupa Rentals and the judgement of the proprietor
of Stoupa Rentals will be final. If any equipment is damaged the
full cost of replacement will be borne by the renter and will be
required before the rental period expires. If equipment is moved
from the delivery point it is the renters responsibility to ensure
the equipment is returned to the delivery point prior to collection
at the end of the rental period. If the renter wishes to extend
the rental period, they must notify Stoupa Rentals as soon as possible.
Stoupa Rentals will endeavour to make available the equipment for
the extended period. If the equipment is already booked, then Stoupa
Rentals reserve the right to have the equipment returned at the
end of the original period. The appropriate charges will be required
prior to the extension period.
Stoupa Rentals reserve the right to approach your holiday company
for your holiday / travel arrangements if you breach any of the
conditions of Stoupa Rentals
Any electricity charges charged to the hirer are not the responsibility
of Stoupa Rentals.
Stoupa Rentals reserve the right to amend, delete or add to these
Terms & Conditions at any time. An amended copy will be available
on request.
