About Us

I started my life in Stoupa in the summer of 2004 as a taverna waiter and spent my first winter painting and decorating an english lady's house. This gave rise to Stoupa Property Services. Discussions with my better half led to the ideas for Stoupa Rentals featuring bike hire and making available to tourists all the little bits and pieces which weren't always available in the rented accommodations - kettles, toasters, hair dryers and the like. This would give me a business in the summer and Property Services would provide a winter income. It took a while to find a suitable property and then put together all the paperwork and obtain the necessary licences but with help, this was achieved . The work developed very quickly and I had to recruit my father who had retired to Stoupa to help me and then my brother Kevin came here to live and now helps out too.

Mani Pools developed from requests for help from home owners and it too has grown rapidly. We now look after private pools and pools which are part of the facilities of rented accommodation. To make sure we give the best service and advice, on a visit to the UK I completed a course in pool maintenance and I now have a 'National Pool Plant Operator's Certificate' from the 'Institute of Sport & Recreation Management'.

My thanks to all who have helped and supported me in this endeavour and if all goes well, 2008 will be a successful and busy year for us.
